Hasbro’s “get out of jail free” card is a Rey game piece
According to FoxNews.com, eight year old Star Wars fan Carrie Goldman, managed to force toy behemoth Hasbro into adding a Rey game piece to their Force Awakens Monopoly game.
Wait, you’re asking: “there wasn’t a Rey game piece in the game? What’s up with that!”
Turns out Hasbro started selling their new Monopoly games in September, but didn’t include a Rey piece. And here’s the lame excuse:
“. . . it did not include Rey in the game to avoid revealing a key plot line.”
How lame! But they know they’ve been schooled by Carrie, that eight year old fan. Thanks to her letter (and plenty of other complaints from men and women), Hasbro has agreed to provide a Rey game piece to anyone who bought the earlier games. And they’ll be making all future games with Rey.
Good job, Carrie!
