Star Wars Costume Spotlight: Senator Mon Mothma

Today’s Star Wars costume spotlight will be of an important ally who helped Senator Organa spark the Rebellion to go against the Empire: the great Senator Mon Mothma herself.

Senator Mothma was first formally part of the Galactic Senate and the Imperial Senate until she spoke out against the Empire and was marked for treason.

Then with the help of Senator Organa and other allies, she was able to create the Rebellion in hopes of destroying the Empire and bring back peace to the Galaxy. In Rogue One, she was able to recruit Jyn Erso who led the team of rebels to the planet Scarif to steal the Death Star plans.

In episode VI she was seen briefing the Rebel Alliance on the plan of attack to destroy the second Death Star.

Through out the series, though Mothma wore different dresses, she always wore her traditional Chandrilla necklaces:
