New Disney display explains Kylo Ren’s Crossguard Lightsaber
Digitalspy.com reports that since late last year when the teaser trailer for The Force Awakens came, a lot of fans where puzzled by Kylo Ren’s crossguard lightsaber.
According to a Star Wars fan that spotted the lightsaber in the Star Wars Launch Bay gallery at Disneyland, a description next to the lightsaber explains:
Kylo Ren’s unusual lightsaber is an ancient design, although the one he carries is recently constructed. The crossguard blades, or quillons, are raw power vented from the primary central blade.
From reading this description of Kylo Ren’s lightsaber I’d say that it does make perfect sense! (Here’s a link to my Kylo Ren extendable lightsaber unboxing video.)
