Malled.blog.palmbeachpost.com and Comicvine.com sites, report that Force Friday merchandise has arrived on the shelves in some stores early.

Here are a couple pictures of early purchases made Tuesday at a couple Walmarts:

Could this BB-8 Sphero toy be a hot new Christmas gift?

On the Screencrush.com site, there is a first look at the new BlueTooth enabled BB-8 toy from Sphero which can be a hot gift for Christmas. This version of the toy costs $149.99.

I’m putting it on my list right now! (Santa, did you hear that?)

By the way, the article notes there is a less expensive ($80) radio control BB-8 coming to Target stores.

Tips for the Ultimate Force Friday Shopping Spree

On Makingstarwars.net, the website is offering tips for folks who want to hit their local stores for Force Friday.

Here are the first two tips to consider:

• “Space. Before you decide to pick up numerous types of product think about your free space at home. If, like myself you may have limited display space, so you should really consider that before buying almost everything on store shelves. You don’t want to get home and realize you’ve got nowhere to display your new product–what’s the fun in putting it all in storage, right?”
• “Budget. I’m sure many of you have been saving for this event; however, if you don’t have a game plan going into Force Friday you may end up picking up more than you’d bargained for and in turn going over budget, which is never a good thing!”

And here’s one of their recommendations if you are a collector:

• “If you’re already a collector it’s possible you already have limited display space, why not consider future proofing? That means going through your existing collection and taking away parts of it that aren’t your most beloved items. Maybe sell them or put them into storage–this way you are more prepared for the massive influx of Star Wars merchandise that is incoming.

With five days left until Force Friday, more images of new toys have been leaked on Starwars7news.com.

Here’s look at what is new today:

Let us start with the 12” figure of Poe Dameron (the new X-Wing pilot) and this new land speeder bike:

Next one is this new super cool Star Wars: The Force Awakens chess game that has Kylo Ren as the queen for black player’s side:

A new Hot Wheels course set called “Escape from Jakku” that is motorized with some cool sound effects from the movie:

Next: two new 3.75″ figures. One of the Bullhead X-Wing pilot named Asty (I previously blogged about), and a new character called Sarco Plank:

Next: new Star Wars 3 pack set micro machines, representing a sequence from the new movie:

Cool! Lego has released a commercial to YouTube.com of the new upcoming Force Awakens Lego sets.

Here below is the video of the commercial for the new Force Awakens lego sets:

Notice something similar in this video? Kylo Ren and his men going after BB-8 was similar to the way R2 and C-3PO where on the run from the Stormtroopers in A New Hope, when they where given the plans to the Death Star. Hmmmm!

BB-8 remote control toy found at Target and on Walmart.com

Theforce.net reports that a Star Wars fan found a new BB-8 remote control toy at Target and posted video of the toy in action on his Facebook page.

This toy is also available on Walmart.com. This toy costs $68.04 and shipping is free.

As of this writing there’s only 3 of these BB-8 remote control toys left in stock so order soon.
