New 1/6th scale First Order Stormtrooper Officer from Hot Toys available for pre-order
Sideshowtoy.com is taking another pre-order of a new 1/6th scale figure that just arrived from Hot Toys. This latest toy: a new 1/6th scale action figure of a First Order Stormtrooper Officer! This new figure costs $210 and is expected to ship from February 2016 to April 2016.

In the exciting highly-anticipated film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the First Order has enlisted Stormtroopers equipped with sleek armor and powerful weapons to enforce its will across the galaxy.
Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys are delighted to expand the First Order army once again and officially present the new First Order Stormtrooper Officer Sixth Scale Collectible Figure.
The highly-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of the First Order Stormtrooper Officer in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and features the sleekly designed Stormtrooper armor and helmet, the red pauldron that indicates the rank of officer and highly detailed blaster rifle with extended stock, a blaster pistol, and a hexagonal figure stand with the First Order’s emblem!

New Force Awakens toys at Walmart
Road trip! On a recent trip to Walmart, I spied several new Star Wars toys! Here’s a run-down. (Updated: most of these links resolve to Walmart, as Target has sold out.)
1. Black Series First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter, $95.95 and shipping is free (Walmart).
2. Force Awakens 3.75 Goss Toowers figure, $6 and shipping is free. This is a cool looking alien I wonder what species the creature is?
3. Darth Vader RC (Remote Control) Hot Wheels Car, $15 and shipping is free. Wait . . . Darth Vader drove a car? Which movie was this in?
4. Anakin to Vader Color changing Lightsaber, $33.90 and shipping is free. A lightsaber that can change color from blue to red—very cool!
5. Star Wars themed 15” talking Chewbacca plush toy, $64.24a and shipping is free. As of this writing there’s only one of these Chewbacca plush toys left in stock so order soon. Yep, Wookie sound effects included!

Two new Force Awakens Lego sets officially revealed!
Starwarsnewsnet.com reports that Hothbricks.com has revealed two brand new Force Awakens Lego sets. I’ve blogged about the first one, the Rebel Troop Transporter here.
The second set, The Battle of Takodana, hasn’t been seen until now. While it’s pretty cool that Maz Kanata’s mini figure is revealed in the new Lego set, the biggest news is that the mask of Kylo Ren’s mini figure is removable so that we can see his face.
That raises the question: is Kylo Ren going to take off his mask early in The Force Awakens or later? Will he be revealed to be Luke’s son? Or Han and Leia’s son?

Interactive Stormtrooper and Darth Vader exclusive at Toys “R” Us
Yes, there is a new exclusive Interactive Stormtrooper toy available at Toys “R” Us.com for $130 (regularly $150). Plus a new exclusive Interactive Darth Vader toy is also available on Toys “R” Us.com for $110 (regularly $130) as well.
Here are the specs of the Stormtrooper toy:

New 1/6th scale Chewbacca figure available for pre-order!
Sideshowtoy.com reports that “with fans longing for a high-quality figure” of Han Solo’s sidekick Chewbacca, their wish has come true. Hot Toys has released a highly-detailed Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope: Chewbacca Sixth Scale Collectible Figure! This figure is available for pre-order.
The price for this 1/6th scale figure is $255 and is expected to ship around December 2015 to January 2016.
