Here’s the rundown for new Star Wars Force Awakens Funko toys. They run the gamut from from lead characters like Luke and Leia to new characters like Maz Kanata.
1. Funko POP! Vinyl The Force Awakens General Leia Figure. The figure costs $13.

Three new 3.75″ Force Awakens figures are available on Walmart
Jeditemplearchives.com reports that three new 3.75″ action figures of Unkar Plutt (the junk dealer), FN-2187 or Finn (dressed in his Stormtrooper armor), and Captain Rex (from the Clone Wars and the Star Wars Rebels TV series) are now in stock on Walmart!
The Unkar Plutt figure costs $7.89 and shipping is free!
The figure of Finn (FN-2187) in his armor costs $8.07 and shipping is free!
The figure of Clone Trooper Captain Rex costs $15 and shipping is free! Plus as of this writing there’s only one of these 3.75″ figures left in stock so order soon.

New 1/6th scale Imperial Astromech Droid R5-J2 is available for pre-order today
Today Sidehowtoy.com is taking a pre-order for the new 1/6th scale Imperial Astromech Droid figure known as R5-J2. I have blogged about this figure previously.
The new 1/6th scale droid figure costs $140 and is expected to ship November, 2016 to January, 2017. You can pre-order this action figure here.
According to the site:
Joining Sideshow’s acclaimed Star Wars Sixth Scale Collection is the R5-J2 Imperial Astromech Droid.
Making a brief appearance in the opening of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, this sleek black and copper colored repair droid was stationed on the second Death Star during the battle of Endor.
Built slightly larger than the Imperial R2-Q5 unit, the R5-J2 Sixth Scale Figure measures roughly 8.6 inches tall and features hinged panels, retractable treads, and a unique swiveling trapezoid-shaped head.

New 12-Inch Hero Series figures revealed and are available for pre-order
Entertainmentearth.com is taking another pre-order for a new revealed Force Awakens Hero Series 12-inch action figure case set. This new figure case set costs $88 and is expected to ship in March, 2016.

Second Force Awakens Kylo Ren costume with helmet now available for pre-order on Anovos
Anovos.com is now taking another pre-order of a second Force Awakens costume ensemble of Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) but with the helmet included. The costume costs $2,635 (!) and it comes in any size. See my earlier blog of the “helmet-less” version for more details.
Here are some details on the new helmet:
- Helmet is assembled and ready to wear.
- Helmet is created from digital scans and reference from the original prop.
- Helmet is constructed in fiberglass.
- Helmet has texture and metalized elements replicated from the original prop.
- Visor is mesh material replicated from the original prop.
- Helmet interior is lined for a finished appearance.
- Helmet fitting pads are adjustable.

MAFEX toy company announces new 6″ Force Awakens action figures
Makingstarwars.net reports that next fall this toy company called MAFEX is going to release some brand new Force Awakens 6″ action figures (tip of the hat to Yakface.com for the heads up information)! Here is the rundown of these brand new 6″ figures.
1. 6″ Kylo Ren figure, ￥5,800 (or in Amarican money $55). This figure is scheduled to be released in November 2016. It includes a removable helmet, a cross-guard lightsable and hilt, and an unmasked head that’s sculpted to look just like actor Adam Driver.
2. 6″ figure two pack of C-3PO and BB-8, ￥9,800 (or in American money $94). This figure two pack is scheduled to be released in November 2016. This the first time that 6″ figure of C-3PO has been given a much cooler paint job. Also the first time that a 6″ figure of BB-8 includes the “Thumbs up” signature (as seen from The Force Awakens).
3. 6″ Captain Phasma, ￥6,800 (or in American money, $65). This new figure is scheduled to be released in December, 2016. This figure is the first figure to have a chrome paint job instead of a silver paint job like the other Phasma figures. It does include a soft fabric cape.
