New 1/6th scale Sandtrooper figure from Hot Toys is available for pre-order
Sideshowtoy.com and Hot Toys are taking a pre-order for this new 1/6th scale action figure of an Imperial Sandtrooper (from A New Hope) that Hot Toys unveiled! This new 1/6th scale figure costs $220 and is expected to ship between May, 2016 to June, 2016.
According to the details:
The highly-accurate Sandtrooper collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of the Squad Leader on Tatooine.
The specialized trooper features a meticulously crafted Sandtrooper armor and helmet with signature weathering effects, a highly detailed survival backpack, 3 types of blasters, a Patrol Droid as seen in the Special Edition of the film, and a specially designed desert-themed figure stand.

New exclusive 12″ Droid 3-Pack now available in the US, price revealed
While on a recent trip to Walmart I discovered the exclusive Force Awakens 12″ Droid action figure 3-pack that I had previously blogged about in March, has now hit the shelves in the US. It’s now available on Walmart.com.
If you recall this figure 3- pack does include BB-8, C-3PO, and RO-4LO (the new astromech droid).
The price for the 3-pack at Walmart is $45 plus $7 for shipping. As of this writing there’s only 1 of these droid figure 3-packs left in stock so order soon.

May 4th is Star Wars Day on Amazon with deals!
On May 4th, Amazon Prime will begin selling the Force Awakens movie and to celebrate, they are having a series of sales on Force Awakens toys! The sale begins April 25th, 2016 and continues through May 21st.
I imagine there will be quite a few deals on May the 4th. You can see all the special deals here on the Amazon Star Wars page.
Taking a quick look at the page I saw some clever pet items that caught my eye: dog and cat collars, rope wraps, tug toys, costumes for pets, harnesses, leashes, food and water bowls, Star Wars themed cat teasers, and mice toys.
Other Star Wars items I saw on the page were action figures, car toys, Hotwheels race track sets, costumes, bobble heads, stuffed animals, and Star Wars books.

New 1/6th scale 4-LOM Bounty Hunter Protocol droid figure coming soon
Sideshowtoy.com reports that they will releasing a pre-order for a brand new 1/6th scale action figure of 4-LOM a former protocol droid turned bounty hunter (in following the footsteps of Boba Fett)! The release date for the pre-order of this figure will begin on Thursday, April 28th, 2016.
If you recall in episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, this droid was seen among the other bounty hunters that Vader hired to capture the Millennium Falcon (and where promised a reward for the capture).
