Anovos has begun a pre-order for a brand new Revenge of the Sith themed Clone Trooper Phase II helmet accessory (tip of the hat to Rebelscum.com)! This helmet costs $600 (!) and is expected to ship during the winter of 2019.
According to details:
- When we approached this legendary helmet five years ago, we were faced with the most unique challenge to our replicative capabilities: There was no real helmet ever made to cast, 3D scan, or base our engineering from.
- After multiple iterations and prototypes, our focus was accuracy and fit. Because of the primarily digital nature of this helmet, the conventional overhead entry couldn’t be used without losing the accuracy of sculpt.
- Instead, we engineered a system of faceplate removal which will allow our costumers and collectors to easily slip the helmet on and reattach the faceplate, capturing the original intent and curvatures from the digital models.
- The helmet is assembled and ready to wear.
- Original digital assets were referenced in the creation of this product.
- Modeled using digital assets and slightly altered to fit a human head.
