New and old characters appearing in the Force Awakens

Great news! Makingstarwars.net has just posted a first look at new and old characters that are going to appear in the Force Awakens. There is also more of the information about the new and old characters as well on Starwars7news.com.

One of the new characters that will be introduced in this movie is the new X-Wing pilot named Gorwyn who fans call this new character the new Wedge Antilles of the new sequel trilogy.

Also rumor has it that a couple of recurring characters will be appearing the Force Awakens as well. One of those recurring characters will be Admiral Ackbar the Calamarian from the planet Mon Calamari who was part of rebel fleet that fought in the war against the Empire in Return of the Jedi. This very exciting that Ackbar and the Calamari are back helping out the rebels again just like the way they helped out the old republic during the clone wars.

The second recurring character that will also make an appearance in the Force Awakens will be Nien Nunb. As you know Nunb was Lando’s copilot in the Falcon in Return of the Jedi and I believe that it’s a great honer that he is coming back in this new movie. Also since he is back than that could mean that Lando might participate the movie I don’t know what do you think?
